Labes – fall or slide.

 

Simbiótica is, for us, a platform to explore our ideals more deeply and to experiment beyond our comfort zone of fashion. The piece Labes was designed by us and brought to life by the incredible weavers of the Las Rosas Cooperative. From our very first visit, the excitement and curiosity were mutual. Learning about their processes and sharing what we know opened a new chapter in our work together.

They understand they are not limited by traditional production methods, but guided by their knowledge and their desire to create—just like us.

We left hopeful that they will begin to see themselves as the artists they truly are, and that this connection will grow into long-term collaborations. Together, we are weaving a network that will one day help shape Guatemala.

There is an inherent beauty in everything that surrounds us. The activity within a crater embodies courage, explosiveness, and unpredictability—
just like rock revealing its story and the paths it leads to, much like any stored knowledge within our intellectual being.
